Indicator Species

Something I did not hear about it before and it is an amazing thing to know about it. I think it is an important things for the diversity. Indicator species are that provide early warning of harmful environmental changes taking place in a community or an ecosystem. Think of them like" fire alarms" warning us that something is wrong with the ecosystem. A good  example of it is Trout. A fish that need a freshwater, clean water and high level of oxygen. If the water becomes polluted or loses its oxygen they begin to die quickly and serve as a warning to us that something is wrong.
